Antonina Shevchenko

Antonina Shchenko is a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thy fighter. She competes currently with the UFC Flyweight division. She is the younger sister of former UFC Flyweight champ as well as co- UFC competitor Valentina. Antonina Shevchenko began her career as an Muay Thai boxer. She made her debut in 2003 at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner at the event and beat Suzane Milliner in a unanimous vote. Antonina received a gold medal in 2007, a silver medal in 2008, a silver in 2007 and an award of bronze in 2008, and a gold medal gold in the year 2011. She won at the world championships for light Welterweight at WKC in 2012, the Lion Fight Lightweight World Championships in 2016 as well as both the WMC World Championships and Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina has fought her last time against Isa Tidblad Kskikangas at Phoenix Fighting Championship. She was able to win by a unanimous vote. Shevchenko committed herself to kickboxing after which she took a lengthy time off from MMA. She returned to fight in 2017 and faced Anissa Hasdaoui. Shevchenko defeated Anissa through a unanimous decision, as well as defeated Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. She left the club and began Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko went 1-2 in her next 3-fights she lost to Ariane Lipski and falling to Katlyn Chookagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina was recently defeated by Casey O'Neill via TKO at UFC Fight Night Santos-Walker.
