Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley was an extremely popular Reggae Singer for many years. Born in Falmouth Jamaica, he was one of the wealthiest and most successful. In the classic cult movie Shottas he starred opposite Wyclef. Ky-Mani was signed by Shang Records in 1996 where he released his first album With Father Like Son. He recorded a variety of singles like Judge Not With Patra and Dear Dad (which reached the highest position on the British Reggae Charts) as well as the Who the Cap Fit remix and Sensimelia. Each of these songs contributed to his growing popularity with the new generation of reggae singers. Ky-Mani joined forces with Praswell of Fugees to record Electric Avenue by Eddy Grant. The song has been a big hit since 1997. Marley performed at Midem (international music showcase) during its time at Miami for the first time.
